Affiliate Disclosure
How AI for Zebras earns money, how that affects what you see, and what it never affects. Required under FTC 16 CFR Part 255 and applicable EU/UK consumer-protection rules.
The short version
AI for Zebras is an independent editorial site. We earn referral commissions from some of the brands listed here when you click through and become a paying customer. We never charge readers. Our scores are published and fixed before any commercial relationship exists.
How commissions work
When you click a "Visit site" or "Get started" button, your click passes through our tracking system at forzebras.ai/v/. If you go on to sign up, subscribe, or purchase, we may receive a commission from the brand. The price you pay is identical to what you would pay visiting the brand directly - we do not add markup.
Commission types vary by program: some pay a flat fee per new subscriber, some pay a percentage of the first payment, and some pay recurring fees for the life of the subscription. We do not publicly disclose individual commission rates.
What a commercial relationship can change
- The order in which products appear within a category ranking, where scores are otherwise close
- Which products receive expanded review sections or featured callout cards
- Which products we prioritize testing and writing about in a given quarter
What a commercial relationship never changes
- The underlying score a product receives - scores follow our published methodology and are set before any commercial discussion
- Factual criticisms, known issues, or trade-offs in any review
- Whether a product is included or excluded from a category - inclusion depends on the scoring criteria, not commercial status
- Products with no affiliate relationship appear on this site alongside those that do
Current affiliate status
As of June 2026, we are in the process of applying to affiliate programs. Some outbound links on this site are not yet monetized - we have built the tracking infrastructure but not all programs have been approved. We disclose broadly and consistently regardless of approval status, because the commercial intent exists even before approval is confirmed.
Programs we are applying to or working with include course platforms (Coursera, DataCamp, edX), productivity tools (Notion, Zapier), and AI tool vendors. We will update this page as relationships are confirmed. Contact [email protected] for current status.
Where we disclose on the site
We disclose in three places: a bar at the top of every page, a short note near the first comparison table or CTA on every money page, and in full here. If you reach a product page without seeing a disclosure, that is an error - please report it.
Regulatory compliance
We comply with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255). We comply with applicable EU and UK consumer-protection rules requiring clear identification of commercial content. For California residents, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information via the link in the footer.
Reporting an issue
If you believe content on this site is misleading, missing a disclosure, or violates applicable rules, email [email protected]. We review compliance reports within seven business days.
